I did this basically to practice shading, which I dare say I totally fucked up. I was enjoying the whole process, though, until I "finished" it. Now I'm just disappointed in it.

Also, wtf is up with Photoshop not natively allowing me to save shit as jpegs? The original res on this was 1920x1200, but I had to take a screencap so I could post it.

It began and ended with a word.
Not a particularly strong or powerful word, but a word that changed everything. It wasn't too long or difficult to spell. It wasn't uncommon either. In fact, it was a perfectly ordinary word, but, I suppose, its commonplace origin is what made it so special.
I loved that word.
But the word doesn't mean much without the story along with it and I was always one for telling good stories.
